Terms of use

Econvitals India is for information and teaching. Nothing on it is investment, financial or policy advice.

The numbers come from official public sources and are shown as their publishers release them; publishers revise their data, and we update the site when they do. We check every series automatically and correct mistakes when we find them (see Corrections), but we cannot guarantee that every figure is free of error. For decisions that matter, check the publisher's own release, linked from each series' page on Data.

Downloadable data are offered under the original publishers' terms, listed for each series on the Data page (for example, the Government Open Data Licence – India, which asks you to credit the source). Series whose terms do not allow redistribution, such as stock-index levels, are shown but not offered for download. If you use our charts or calculations, please credit Econvitals India.

Privacy

Browsing the site. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and stores nothing in your browser. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical details of each request (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

The newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is held by our newsletter service, Buttondown, not on this site. Buttondown emails you a confirmation link first, sends the morning email, and handles unsubscribing (every email has a link). When you sign up, your IP address is passed to Buttondown for its spam checks. We use your address only to send the newsletter, and never sell or share it.

Writing to us. If you email bishmaykbarik@gmail.com, we use your message only to reply and to fix what you report.
