The latest data on India's growth, prices, jobs, money, markets, public finances and external sector, in one place, updated as the numbers come out.

The site gathers India's macroeconomic, financial and market indicators from official public sources (MoSPI, the Reserve Bank of India, FBIL and others) into one place and updates them as new numbers are released. It is written for economists, students and anyone who wants the numbers with their sources.

How it works

Automated pipelines download each release, check it against plausible ranges and the previously published values, and only then publish it. If a download fails, the site keeps the last good values and marks the series as stale. Every number on every page is drawn from a stored series; nothing is typed in by hand. Sources, coverage and licences are listed on the Data page.

Written briefings, when they arrive, will be drafted with AI from these data and reviewed by a person before publication.
